WHERE COMIC DREAMS COME TO LIFE
Our Story
I was born and raised here in Carthage Mississippi. Small rural town as it is I had no idea about things like Magic the Gathering or Dungeons & Dragons. I was in the dark. In 1999, while attending college at East Central Community College, I encountered a new group of friends. These friends introduced me to a new world. Anime, Dungeons & Dragons, Magic the Gathering and even LARPing.
Back home in Carthage I had no one to play with. So I found myself on the road looking for more like minded people. Moved to Meridian, Gulfport, Biloxi, Starkville, Hattiesburg, Wiggins and eventully ended up back here at home.
Having quit playing Magic and Dungeons & Dragons, many times over the years for lack of convenient pl players and working as a sound tech and Karaoke personality, I had just about given up on gaming. Until one day my nephew asked me to teach him to play Magic and later D&D. He then told me of his friends and classmates who played and collected. this stirred my heart and my love of the games again.
Now here we are Leake Geek is here for the gaming community. here to build and nurture the future of Geek Culture.
Come out and let your Geek Flag Fly! I was never a serious player. Casual at best. But I am always willing to teach what i know (even if its not much as those serious players) and willing to learn from the newer generation.
